Responsible for the development of the Event Management and Group Travel operation within one of the UK’s premier strategic travel management companies. To lead the team of Event and Group Travel specialists, motivating and directing them to ensure they are fully supported to deliver exceptional service to our clients in all areas of event operations.Assisting with the strategic development of the client portfolio working closely with various departments, taking responsibility for event sales, event services, event performance and profitability, whilst maintaining a high level of client and team satisfaction.

Managed the London Events and Venue Find teams, Worked closely with direct reports using my knowledge and experience to deliver well run events in venues that suit the brief, whilst bringing ideas with a creative flair, giving advice and suggestions at all times. Successfully adapted and improved processes to suit the business needs whilst ensuring customer service was of the highest standard, working hard to retain and increase business. In addition my responsibilities included the smooth running of the office, including H&S compliance, liaising with facilities teams and numerous departments within the business.

Managed Bicester Visitor Centre, overseeing the delivery of numerous customer services including Valet Parking, Hands Free Shopping and Gift Card sales.Responsible for the recruitment and management of a team of 12+ multi national staffManaged the Visitor Centre operating budget, including the purchase and sales of gift itemsManaged the Tourist Information Centre, working closely with the Travel team and local business to improve and impart knowledge to visitors to Bicester Village

6 month contract to take responsibility for the negotiation and planning of all UK and Ireland Events, improving processes, working closely with suppliers to ensure the smooth running of numerous events.

Reported to the CEO with responsibility for the operation of the events division, focusing on event delivery, customer service, staffing, business development and strict budget control. Delivered exceptional and award winning high profile corporate events, including the build and management of The Fairway Village for the Wimbledon Championships for 15 years. I worked on numerous events such as a EURO 96 Hospitality programme, British Grand Prix, Royal Ascot, Six Nations Rugby on an annual basis. Managed the Events team, recruiting, training and coaching on an ongoing basis.
