I graduated with a degree in Biological Sciences at Marquette University, where I gained extensive experience in biological, chemical, biochemical, and genetic concepts. In addition to participating in laboratory courses, where I learned how to manage complex workloads and apply my knowledge to conduct thorough and precise experiments, I also gained experience working in a biochemistry research lab. With over a year of experience, I gained insights on protein functions and pathways while developing technical skills using key laboratory equipment such as, but not limited to, pipettes, scales, and pH meters. Alongside gaining technical experience, I honed practical communication skills by asking questions and seeking clarification on challenging concepts to ensure both accuracy and confidence in my work. Moreover, my professional experience beyond the science field, with roles working as an office assistant and an afterschool tutor, has further strengthened my attention to detail, patience, and dedication across different environments.
