Alicia's Voice Foundation was created from a tragic murder from domestic violence and human trafficking of my daughter in 2016. I decided to utilize my 20 plus years of experience to research and develop my non-profit organization to assist and educate others by raising awareness against crimes of innocent victims. I currently travel throughout the nation, teaching classes, perform radio interviews and touch the lives of people who may have no one to turn to. I have been in upper management for years and am thankful for the God-given talents that I am now utilizing to make a difference in todays' society of what seems to be an epidemic of crimes to trusting people. Served as Director of Sales and Marketing with experience in opening new hotels, within 5 days of opening, hotel was at 105% occupancy. Contract negotiation with both small companies to large corporations. Actively worked with local chambers to build exposure within Richardson and East Plano. I build all clientele with the assistance of Jacaruso Corporation and Hilton Corporate, of which I have built strong reputare. Organized the booth at the Hilton Carnival yearly and drove market share by educating Hilton Reservation Associates who were in attendance at the carnival. I built and maintained relationships with other Hampton Properties throughout the nation to ensure a shift in marketshare by having them refer their clients to our property when in our area. I am very familiar with RFP season and the processes. I also have experience in being an interim GM for a couple of months. This gave me the ability to see how fun and rewarding being a General Manager can be.
