My goal is to offer service to the community through alternative health care and wellness education. By designing individualized treatment protocols that are evidence based, I aim to specialize in function restoration and pain reduction that allows for enhanced daily performance.Dr. Leslie Maxwell is a doctor of chiropractic and adjunct lecturer for the Theatre and Dance department at the University of Texas at Austin. From an early age, she developed a passion for dance and performance movement and the benefits associated with living a healthy life. This led her Kilgore College where she performed as a Rangerette and Swingster. She then furthered her education at the University of Texas at Austin, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Bachelor of Art in Theatre and Dance. After graduation, Dr. Maxwell went on to Texas Chiropractic College and received another Bachelors Degree in Human Biology and a Doctorate in Chiropractic. Dr. Maxwell's passion for movement and its studies has led her back to Austin with the intent to enhance the communities’ daily performance. She is licensed in the state of Texas and uses various soft tissue manipulation techniques to restore function and reduce pain quickly. She and her husband, Dr. Tony Maxwell, their daughter Elma Jane and two bird dogs reside in Austin, Texas.
