Serves as the Chief of Communications for the Permanent Executive Secretariat of the Conference of American Armies (PESCAA), a unique Chief of Staff of the Army International Military Organization in the Western Hemisphere. Responsible for planning, protecting and maintaining the PESCAA Integrated Communications Systems consisting of public and restricted data repositories and High Frequency (HF) Radio Networks. On behalf of the Chief of Staff of the Army and the Commanding General (U.S. Army South) adds strategic operational value and shapes future army relations among 20 member armies, five observer armies and three special observer military organizations by participating in a series of multinational specialized conferences and exercises of national security importance.

Serve as the Chief, Current Operations Branch, directly responsible for all communications supporting U.S. Army South and its assigned and attached Army units forward stationed throughout the SOUTHCOM AOR. Coordinate and implement C4I support for scheduled operational exercises, contingency missions, and counter-drug operations throughout the 31 countries in the theater.Plans, coordinates and implements theater COMSEC and Spectrum Management. When deployed, serves as the Chief of the Joint Network Control Center. Supervise four civilian employees, three senior non-commissioned officers in accomplishing assigned communication missions for the command. Plan organize, coordinate and direct work of subordinates. Served as the senior operations officer responsible for 76 operations and support personnel for the Army South's Chief of Information Officer (CIO). The organization is responsible as the senior authority for Information Technologies investment strategies, networks and network-centric policies, communications, information resources management, information assurance, and related matters for a 3-star Army Service Component Command and the Army’s cyberspace domain.• Coordinates and implements C4I support for scheduled operational exercises, contingency missions, and counter-drug operations throughout 31 countries in the Western Hemisphere.• Develops and implements command level training programs that enable 15 personnel proficiency in mission communications, networking devices, and obtain varying IAT level I-III industry certifications.• Responsible for operational elements designed to engineer, install, operate, maintain and defend the signal activities in both exercise and operational environments within an integrated Army, Joint, and commercial telecommunications network; responsible for the readiness of all network equipment valued at over $14 million dollars.
