Leslie is a co-founder and currently serves as the Genus Chair of the Board. She is responsible for ensuring the firm’s has a strategy in place (a process lead by our CEO) with supporting business plans, Key Performance Indicators and milestone goals which are reviewed at Quarterly meetings. She also works in the market place to properly position the Genus profile to reflect the results Genus has achieved for the past three decades. Leslie drives customer success by not only creating investment plans, which include financial goals and personal values, but by thoroughly explaining the plans to the clients thereby increasing safety and certainty for all. Leslie has an Associated Arts degree from Langara Collage before graduating in Finance from Arizona State University which she attended on a swimming scholarship. Leslie holds a CFA designation and is an Honourary Chartered Public Accountant. She currently serves on the Investment Committee of the Canadian Olympic Committee.
