Oversee the student culture and character education for the upper school. I partner with the grade level leads on common themes.Monitor trends and patterns. Look for ways to improve processes and be more efficient.Mediate between students, faculty and parents.Oversee the student leadership for the upper school. Students partner with me to get ideas approved before executing.Assist students with time management, help them get involved in clubs and organizations and coach them on conflict issues. Responsible for handling disciplinary issues.

• Supports and attends all admissions recruitment efforts and activities;• Recruits international students through international organizations, travel, and conferences; • Engages with prospective families as they navigate the admissions process;• Coordinates programs and activities that foster the acclimation of new families to the school; • Develops relationships with external organizations to assist in recruiting efforts with multi- cultural families;• Plans and implements programs and activities designed to recruit families of diverse cultural backgrounds;• Compiles enrollment data for new students of color;• Coordinates Crest Society participation in school activities and events;• Oversees the Family Ambassador Program;• Assists in planning and implementing intentional inclusion programming for each division;• Partners with division heads on any inclusion initiatives and issues/concerns;• Creates a cross-divisional platform for faculty members to share and problem solve;• Partners with division staff to create mini-seminar series for all new girls to help them better acclimate to the Hutchison environment;• Collaborates with and assists division heads and teachers in implementing components of the Facing History and Ourselves curriculum, where appropriate, into the Hutchison curriculum in middle and upper school;• Serves as a member of the Navigation Team;• Facilitates seminars relative to inclusion for middle and upper school;• Partners with Student Council leaders to ensure students are learning about different cultures;• Serves as the Crest Society sponsor;• Attends Hutchison Parents Association meetings and assists in creating a welcoming and inclusive parent community; and• Works with parents in their acclimation to Hutchison.

Greater Memphis Area

Responsible for leading the Hutchison Leads Internship Program. Assisted students with finding an internship site, coached and mentored students through the internship process and helped students prepared for their internship presentations. Partnered with the College Counseling department and co-facilitated a Resume and Interview workshop to upper school girls. We focused on how to write a resume and what types of experiences to put on a resume. Students learned about the different styles of interview questions and had the opportunity to role play the interview questions.Partnered with College Counseling department and facilitated a "Career Shadow Day" for our sophomore class. Provided students with tips on how to choose their career site, contacting the site and how to behave the day of the career shadow day. Assisted students by providing tips on how to dress for scholarship interviews and business etiquette. Met with students on a monthly bases to assist with their Wilson Society projects.Chaperoned students that are a part of the Rogers Scholars program. This program focuses on Memphis issues. We visited places such as The Kroc Center, Regional One Hospital and St. Jude.
