I recently accepted this promotion opportunity to lead product and market development for Highmark's Medicaid Business Unit. In this role I will continue to enhance and grow the Market Policy and Product development and governance, Customer Experience Enablement, Innovation Enablement and Realization, and to expand our Unit's capabilities in regards to Experience Strategy, Product Strategy, Strategy Realization and Performance Measurement, New Market Development, Implementation and Integrations, Business Architecture and Capability modeling. Building on the capabilities and scalability that our platform and operational transformations are delivering, we are excited to advance our Medicaid strategy and priorities and expand to new products, product delivery capabilities and into new markets.

I currently have the privilege to lead the Business Management and Enablement functions for Highmark's Medicaid Business Unit, including Vendor Management & Oversight, Product & Policy Development and Governance, Experience Enablement, Innovation Enablement, Project and Portfolio Management, Business Process Optimization and System Configuration. We are growing our team and transforming our Medicaid Business Unit platform and processes to bring best in class solutions to the members and markets we serve.

Current product offerings include stop loss, HMO reinsurance, voluntary products and student indemnity and workers compensation.Reporting directly to the CFO, responsible for internal and external financial reporting, budget and forecasting, cost management, accounts payable, fixed asset accounting, premium tax reporting and financial analysis/decision support.

CFO for the four Unison and AmeriChoice (subsidiaries of United Health Group) health plans in Pennsylvania and Delaware which operated in the government sector with Medicaid, Medicare, SCHIP and Adult Uninsured products. Included functional accoutability for all accounting, reporting, forecasting, strategic planning, revenue enhancement and relationship management with key government stakeholders.

Insurance Holding Company with $1 billion in revenue operating 10 entities (8 of which were HMOs) in 6 states and the District of Columbia. The HMOs operated in the Government Sector managed care arena with products covering state Medicaid programs, Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D, SCHIP and Adult Uninsured programs. I oversaw all Finance, Accouting and Reporting areas, Facilities Management and Support Services Operations (mail room, print production and procurement).
