My passion is working in the field of addiction and mental health with individuals in group and individual therapy settings. I am very passionate about working with families affected by addiction. I have extensive experience working with clients and creating Bio-Psycho-Social Assessments, Addiction Severity Index Questionnaires, treatment plans and working with families, probation officers and case managers/social workers. I enjoy working with a team and I am eager to learn and grow with clinical supervision. I utilize an array of therapeutic interventions, such as CBT, Strength-based and Motivational Interviewing Techniques. I also take a holistic and spiritual approach and I strongly believe in incorporating a variety of techniques to heal the mind, body, and soul, such as, meditation, deep breathing, a variety of relaxation techniques, yoga, exercise, spirituality and Christian counseling. I currently hold a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. Certified international Alcohol and Drug counselor. Certification instructor for Prime for Life. Trained and registered as a Kentucky Assessor through the Division of Substance Abuse and the Cabinet for Health and Family Services.
