I am an effective problem solver with a never wavering focus on the immediate objective. Having an innate ability to adapt, has allowed me to efficiently tackle jobs in different industries. My carrier started as a Programmer Analyst for American Management Systems where I was part of the team who designed, coded, debugged and implemented a new billing and routing platform for Sprint. My role grew and I went from being Houston based to traveling to Kansas to do onsite training and support during the going live period. Traveling and long on call weekend came to an end and decided to start a family. Not quite being content with being a stay home mother, I partnered up with my husband to establish a successful translation company. I went from being a programmer to being a translator and chief accounting center for the company. My responsibilities ranged from the editing of legal and technical documents to the actual translation and formatting of data. After 20 years, time had come for a change.And so, I went from translations to being Director of Operations for Lisa Hough Home, a small design company handling multi-million projects. Learned to work with Studio Webware and all of its functionalities to generate orders, track materials, interface with clients, keep budgets, and provide clients with monthly expenditures and reconciliations. Today, I am Executive Coordinator for for a well-established real estate firm, Sam Yager Incorporated. Being a jack of all trades, this job has allowed me to learn about drainage, flood plains, wetlands, land plans, master planned development, contracts, letters of intent, schematics, and how it all comes together. I serve as an overall project manager keeping track of pending items and communication within our team and with outside consultants. I have taken courses in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Power Point and Excel.
