I have worked in the common interest development industry since 1991. I started as a customer service representative and was quickly promoted to Community Association Property Manager. From there I continued to be promoted as a Senior Property Manager, Training Specialist, Director of Community Services and Vice President of Corporate Management. I have managed high end communities, mid-rises, communities in defect litigation, oversaw and worked directly with attorneys, consultants, banks, reconstruction companies and hundreds of vendors, managed accounts with financial hardships requiring implentation of large special assessments, and communities that have had board member recalls to name some of the properties I have had in my portfolio. When promoted to Vice President of Corporate Management I was responsible for personnel, corporate administration, attendance at board meetings and walk-throughs, training directors, implementation of hiring practices, planning all corporate events and functions, and promoting the corporate vision. Represented the company at marketing meetings, industry functions and before the general public. Ran the daily management operations of the office. Negotiated contracts and oversee all office moves, renovations and improvements. Solicit proposals and provide recommendations for corporate contracts. Identify the needs and purchase office furniture, equipment and supplies as needed. I have served on the CAI Golf Committee for many years.
