Leslie is a fearless advocate for educational equity and has demonstrated a tireless commitment to leading transformative work. In Venice, Compton, Los Angeles, San Jose, and Oakland California, in both the charter and district sectors and across the K-12 spectrum, she has served in diverse leadership roles, including Instructional Lead Teacher, Administrator, and Director, that have focused on increasing academic outcomes for traditionally underserved populations, including African American students, English Language Learners, Special Education, and low-income students.
