I'm a fresh graduate of The University of Texas at Dallas University. I majored in Business Administration because it is a broad field that offers growth opportunities. Before transferring to The University of Texas at Dallas, I attended Collin College. Collin College helped me learn about the numbers and data that make up a business. Their institution was able to help me become an academic and responsible student who is eager to learn more each day. I learned much about Microsoft Excel, an important tool that helps companies organize their data and perform financial analysis. I've used the formulas necessary to configure numbers within spreadsheets to create bars and graphs. PowerPoint is a skill I have learned that's been helpful in most businesses. I can make a presentation slide professionally to employees about any financial numbers reported by a company. In addition, I was able to gain a lot of accounting knowledge and solve real-life problems that occur in a business. Many courses I've applied to my major have helped me gain information about what a company goes through. I created a business plan in one of my courses, which helped me garner insight into all the ideas and setups that make a company flourish. From all the skills and experience I've gained during the past few years, I hope to earn myself an entry-level job that will allow me to explore my desired career soon.
