As Co-President of CAIS++, I've had the privilege of leading a dedicated group of students committed to harnessing Artificial Intelligence for societal betterment. Our organization, affiliated with the USC Center for Artificial Intelligence in Society, focuses on driving positive change through AI Education, hands-on research projects, and collaboration with both industry and faculty leaders.I joined CAIS++ in Fall 2021 as a Freshman, completing the ML Curriculum, and working on the "Reinforcement Learning on Agroecology" in Spring 2022. Being my first experience with ML, CAIS++ jumpstarted my path into AI research, paving the way for me to join research labs on campus.In my sophomore year, I assumed the role of Vice President of Fellowship following my election the prior semester. I was responsible for shaping the organizational culture of CAIS++. My responsibilities included planning recruitment initiatives in the fall, leading social engagement efforts, managing outreach, and coordinating logistics. Simultaneously, I co-led the "Indigenous Language Translation with Sparse Data" project, further solidifying my commitment to using AI to address pressing issues.Now as a junior, I have the privilege of giving back to the organization as Co-President. I work for the USC Libraries Facilities Department, helping oversee 22 libraries and information centers across both campuses of the University of Southern California. As part of my job, I aid in managing the floor plans of our buildings through AutoCAD, surveying locations for environmental conditions, and helping manage our key database.

I am an undergraduate researcher at both the Interaction Lab and GLAMOR Lab, working on "An Accessible Machine Learning-Based ADRD Screening Tool for Families and Caregivers". The goal of this project is to develop a screening system capable of detecting early signs of Alzheimer's Disease (AD) using data from standard clinical AD diagnostics captured through an app. The tool is intended for family members and caregivers, and will be designed to be easy to use and encourage regular screening.With the support of the USC CURVE Program and SURE Fellowship, I have been able to work closely with patients with Alzheimer's Disease to aid in the creation of a multimodal dataset, including eye gaze, speech, facial recording, digital pen data, and more. I was a Course Producer for USC's CS@SC camps in Summer 2022, teaching Java, Python, HTML, CSS, JS, and Scratch to elementary to high school students.
