I am a transactional attorney with experience in all aspects of real estate, including sales, financing, leasing, management, work-outs, and business and financial transactions.I counsel buyers, sellers owners, managers, and lenders on a wide range of transactional matters. I often represent owners of extensive portfolios of family-owned real estate and business investments, and am adept at helping the principals identify, plan for, and successfully navigate the current and future special financial and personal issues involved in such matters. I am a graduate of University of Maryland School of Law where I was also an adjunct professor of a course on Real Estate Transactions that I co-taught for 13 years. Together with my husband, family law attorney Thomas C. Ries, I am a founder of the Fetting Fund for Breast Cancer Prevention at Johns Hopkins. I have been certified as a Minority/Women-Owned Enterprise by Baltimore City since 1991.
