Executive Director
CurrentAs the Executive Director for Clean Water for Haiti in the US and Canada my role is to oversee the fundraising arms of our family of organizations in order to support the on the ground work that happens in Haiti to help provide access to clean water at the household level. The work we do empowers Haitian families to care for their own health by providing biosand water filters that they can use to treat whatever source water they have available. Our team in Haiti is responsible for all of the construction and distribution of our filters through our subsidized filter program. They work with local community leaders to promote the filters in the areas we work in, and then install filters in the homes of families who have registered and paid the small fee for their filter. Through our long-term follow up program we re-visit each filter and provide ongoing education and support to the families who have purchased their filters. I'm proud of the work we do and what we've created, and the impact it's having on the lives of thousands each year.
