I work as a lead reporter during the week and also host a weekly crime series called the Fugitive Files. As a reporter, I am responsible for generating exclusive and compelling story ideas and writing and editing stories that appear in newscasts throughout the day. I am responsible for maintaining contacts and developing sources for stories as well as keeping viewers informed through Facebook and Twitter. I also post stories to the website in AP style along with video links and pictures. I am proficient in I-News and Avid along with Final Cut Pro.

I worked as a one man band reporter at WDTV for two years. In this role, I was solely responsible for covering all news in a three county area. I shot and edited all video for stories. I was responsible for writing all stories that aired from my beat area along with maintaining contacts in every county.
