As a Social Studies Teacher at St. Cecelia's Interparochial Catholic School, I have been teaching 6th to 8th grade students about individuals and societies for the past 1.5 years. I am also the faculty advisor for the Ambassadors, a group of students who represent the school in various events and activities. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of South Florida, and I am passionate about helping students develop critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills. Before joining St. Cecelia's, I taught middle school social studies and religion at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School and Sacred Heart Catholic School, where I also served as a faculty advisor for the National Junior Honor Society, the Student Council, and the Student Leadership Board. I have over 7 years of experience in event planning, classroom management, and curriculum development, and I am always looking for new ways to engage and inspire my students. I believe that teaching is not only a profession, but also a mission, and I strive to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all.
