Daily monitoring and follow up care for patients with chronic medical conditions at higher risk for exacerbation or hospital admission for relapse prevention. Promoting patient compliance along with education. Working with our own AI and team of physicians in partnership with the patients already established physicians to provide the best quality healthcare developed to their specific needs.

I was to oversee and care for patients in the prison Infirmary that treated patients for a wide range of medical conditions. The Infirmary was designed to care for Acute and Chronic patients and could house up to 14 patients at a time. It was equipped to treat inpatients in a open bay setting as well as confined cells for those patients that were being quarantined, on isolation precautions or had a higher level of security due to their charges, aggressive behavior, possible danger to self, or protective custody. I was responsible for all narcotics in the prison as well as any sharps in the prison. I was also responsible for any internal or external chart audits, medication orders, supplies, inspections by the State Health Department, and any other outside inspections.

I had the roll of a Registered Nurse performing bedside care, Charge Nurse, and at times precepting oncoming staff on a busy surgical unit that cared for pre and post surgical patients. When necessary I would float to other units within the hospital including: (but not limited to) the Medical Unit, Cardiac Unit, Oncology Unit, Joint Care Center, PACU, Cath Staging, Observation Unit, ICU, Emergency Room, and Covid Unit.

I assumed the role as Charge Nurse and Preceptor working on a busy Medical Surgical floor of an Inpatient Hospital. I would (along side the hospitals Nursing Supervisor) arrange placement for the surgical patients as they are being discharged from PACU as well as arranging placement for patients that are being directly admitted, and those patients that have been admitted in the ER. Based on the hospitals need I also floated to other units such as (but not limited to) the Medical Unit, Cardiac Unit, Oncology Unit, Joint Care Center, PACU, Admission Unit, SICU, MICU, Cardiac Step-down Unit, Neuro Unit, and ER. I responded to all codes in the hospital and any emergencies on my "home" floor. I was also involved in their clinical ladder program which also required some public speaking as well as presenting and providing employee education.

Worked in a fast paced Trauma ER along side nursing to care and stabilize emergencies as well as worked in the Triage area for any walk-ins.
