Professional Practice Coordinator, Professional Practice Department
CurrentAccountable for supporting the Professional Practice Department's operations, including the application of the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice, and member compliance with the College's Continuous Professional Learning (CPL) program.Ensuring respectful communication on issues, concerns and questions related to professional practice (e.g., the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice, the CPL program). Reference and share relevant resources (e.g., practice notes, legislation) to support understanding of professional practice.First point of contact for members and stakeholders by email/phone to collect sensitive information and then review information to assess risk and then triage to other departments (e.g., CPL completions, immigration issues, personal hardships, English as a Second Language)Effectively monitoring members' compliance with the CPL Program as required by the CPL Regulations and CPL Program RequirementsMaking appropriate recommendations to members/stakeholders regarding the CPL program, resources, and basic compliance queries, and referencing appropriate legislation and resources e.g. ECE Act, CPL Regulation, Notice of CPL Program RequirementsCommunicate with colleagues, members, and external stakeholders to share information on professional practice, address sector queries, and respond to vendor, university, and employer inquiries regarding the member database and materials.
