My responsibilities include estimating heavy highway projects advertised by the Wyoming Department of Transportation, local municipalities throughout Northeastern Wyoming, commercial developers, and private landowners. In addition, I track costs, create project budgets based on the estimate, track quantities, review pay estimates, estimate and review change orders, and various other duties as needed.

I had my first book published in January of 2015. The book is titled 'A Precious Stone' and is about a young woman from Wyoming who embarks on a series of adventures. I am currently working on the sequel, and I hope to have it published by the end of 2016.

My primary duties were to establish the structure of this business by creating and perfecting our initial business plan, establishing construction and equipment financing, creating and implementing safety procedures and manuals, creating and implementing a quality control standard, designing a company logo, website and overall company brand, purchasing and keeping inventory of all office furniture and office equipment, completing payroll, assisting in hiring and indoctrinating new employees, preparing taxes, creating cost control measures, cost accounting, and overall bookkeeping.

Denver Metro Manager1998 - 2006 Kiewit Western Co., Littleton, COAs the Denver Metro Manager, I supervised marketing, estimating, and various construction projects throughout the Greater Denver Metropolitan area, and Colorado Springs. I supervised our marketing and estimating staff, and helped coordinate the logistics to complete our construction projects on time and in compliance with the contract. Some of these duties included: writing bid proposals, estimating, cost control monitoring and measuring, implementing and improving on quality control standards and procedures, managing and creating a culture of safety, scheduling bidding efforts and construction projects, meeting with existing clients, and prospective clients, participating in and actively contributing to partnering efforts, coordinating with government officials with the 60 plus municipalities throughout Denver and Colorado Springs, coordinating and negotiating with subcontractors and material suppliers, actively participating in claims avoidance negotiations, and providing project method analysis to improve operations. Was responsible for an annual volume of $16 to $20 Million.

As one of the estimators on the downtown section of the Lite Rail Project, I was relocated to Salt Lake City to help with the construction activities and coordination. My main duties were to maintain a resource loaded P3 CPM Schedule showing an actual as-built schedule in relation to the planned schedule. This was critical in order to keep this 2-year job on schedule to be built in 1-year. In addition, as the Claims Avoidance Manager, I tracked the many differing site conditions and negotiated changes with the City and the Salt Lake Urban Transit Authority.

My duties included estimating CDOT jobs and municipality jobs throughout the Greater Denver Metropolitian area, as well as private commercial paving jobs.

Wrote quality control reports, created pay applications, tracked quantities, field measured quantities, coordinated subcontractors and suppliers, processed submittals, maintained jobs files, and worked closely with various Project Managers out of our fixed Asphalt Plant in Aurora Colorado with a focus on servicing multiple ongoing projects at Denver International Airport.

Answered phones, helped with various office duties including processing payroll, filing, writing reports, and started helping with some field engineer duties through Kiewit training out of our Aurora Asphalt Plant facilities in Aurora, CO.

I was hired to answer phones and coordinate communication between the field personnel working on-site during the earthwork project for the new Denver International Airport, and field personnel working on various projects throughout the rest of the operations in the Denver Area.
