In 2005, I opened HR One, Inc., a local full service accounting firm and payroll service bureau, with the desire to have a firm that would be better matched with the culture and values that I believe in. My goal was to build a family-oriented firm where my employees can pursue their career aspirations in accounting while also leading a balanced Christian lifestyle. We offer income tax preparation, business accounting, individual income tax, financial statement preparation as well as specialized accounting work. My husband and I have four children and live in Lacassine, LA. I've had experience working with companies directly through start-up, survival, turnaround and growth modes within a wide variety of industries. I strongly believe in doing whatever I can to help others and being actively involved in the community. I also understand and believe that quality client service begins with a genuine care for people. I have experience in accounting, tax services, payroll, consulting, and management. I enjoy working directly with business owners and individuals on their business and tax issues, running the business outsourcing department & developing new business through referrals and active networking. I directly manage team members, mentoring them as they grow in the profession, and ensure that all staff members work with a high sense of integrity, provide great customer service professionally and competently, and exercise sensitive professional and moral judgments in all activities. I support employees in family activities, school involvement, & community service activities to maintain a enjoyable work life balance as well as broaden public confidence. I also support the staff members to further their own passions and education. Next year I'm looking forward to one of my daughters, Lauren Devillier, passing her CPA exam and the firm entering into its second generation.
