Instruct and create Osteoporosis Movement classes focusing on weight bearing exercise to prevent bone loss for all ages.Utilize resistance bands weight, music and props. Lead divorce and life transition support groups for women, provide counseling to a wide variety individuals, including teens. Utilize sliding scale, do not accept insurance. Provided individual coaching, support groups and seminars to individuals in transition searching for new employment. Topics included: Networking,Personal Marketing, Thriving in Transition. Developed curriculum and presented to wide variety of clients.

Counseled and instructed pregnant and parenting teens in Clackamas Community College based Adult High School Completion and GED program. Assessed, counseled and referred to campus resources and community agencies for a wide range of concerns including financial aid, domestic violence, career planning, depression/anxiety, immigration issues, disabilities, custody/child support disputes, housing, food stamps, health insurance, and alcohol/drug problems.Taught traditional academic coursework (2009-10) including: Writing, Civics, Personal Finance, Health, Careers and specialty courses (2002-10) in Human Sexuality, Human Development, Physical Education, Nutrition, Interpersonal Relations, and Creative Expression. Partnered with community agencies to expand services including: New Seasons Market, Oregon City Community Lawyers Association, Artists Repertory Theater, and Clackamas County Community Health. Utilized Spanish-language skills in assisting students.

Created program as faculty member through the Education and Human Services Department. Program provided high-risk young adults with life skills to transition into college or workforce with support of peer mentors, learning cohorts and community partners. Designed and implemented program curriculum including managing all aspects of recruiting and program promotions. Supervised and trained mentors. Counseled students and made referrals to appropriate agencies. Collaborated to write and administer Title III Federal Grant to develop learning communities, wellness program, corporate mentors and hi-tech classrooms.At least 85% of students completed the program and transitioned to higher education or to above-minimum wage employment.
