I am someone who thrives on meeting deadlines and setting goals. Spending over 15 years in education has afforded me opportunities to work well under pressure, adapt to changes quickly, and act decisively in a fast-paced environment. I have enjoyed different positions throughout my career in which I have developed experiences in project management, data analysis, technology integration. From my personal and professional experiences, I have discovered the following about myself: I am a lifelong learner, constantly seeking growth and learning opportunities. I am:-Patient and calm when met with challenges.-Frequently learning because I want to be a better professional.-Focused in order to make effective decisions.Communication is at the core of my ability to work successfully with others. Some of my day-to-day responsibilities have included:-Creating digital newsletters to keep colleagues informed on professional development opportunities and best practices in educational technology.-Consistently reaching out in person and by other means of communication to offer support with class instruction and content curation. -Facilitating discussions during meetings and maintaining focus on goals. Essential to my work is my ability to broaden perspectives and work toward common goals through collaboration. I am able to:-Build relationships with my colleagues before attempting to collaborate with them. -Actively listen to define needs and discern best practices for achieving goals.-Provide professional development to articulate the positive impact of resources, services, and programming I offer in my department.
