At Out of Office, the creative studio founded by Mark Pernice and Elana Schlenker, I serve as a CMO for hire, helping clients define their brand strategy, develop an identity, name, and other creative concerns. Clients include Gilded Audio and kWh Analytics.

Impact Justice advances safety, justice, and opportunity through boundary-breaking work that honors and empowers people and is changing expectations about what we can accomplish together. We conceive of, launch, and scale innovative programs supporting currently and formerly incarcerated people, including The Homecoming Project, Growing Justice, Eating Behind Bars, California Justice Leaders, and the PREA Resource Center, to name a few of our many first-of-their-kind initiatives.

Morty is the homebuyer's advocate. Our online mortgage marketplace provides homebuyers a place to evaluate competitive offers from multiple lenders, then lock and close their loans through an automated platform. A female-founded and led startup with a consumer-centric mission, I've known Morty's team since its inception and couldn't be more excited to dive in as CMO!

As a Mayo Clinic-trained, board-certified wellness coach, my practice supports founding teams with the tools they need to create wellbeing and resilience in the face of startup life's challenges. I also work with VCs and accelerators to develop wellness programming that supports portfolio companies in building workplaces that prioritize wellbeing from day one.**In July 2021, I paused my coaching practice to focus full-time on Morty. A Louisiana native, I reconnected with my roots in the summer of 2020 and was asked to join The Idea Village's VillageX program as an EIR for the 2020-2021 cohort. The Idea Village is an independent tech accelerator affiliated with GAN and the premier venture studio in the state.

Anthemis cultivates change by investing in and building businesses committed to transforming the financial services industry. I originated the CMO role with a three-fold mission: sharpen and manage the brand house; cultivate the community of marketers across our 90+ portfolio companies around the globe; and take Hacking Finance to the next level.

I led the digital team at MSLGROUP in New York City to bring forward-thinking, integrated campaigns to clients. I also collaborated closely with regional digital leaders across the agency to stay aligned, share best practice, and create a common vision for how our teams embraced innovation to achieve results. In my spare time, I led the PayPal account.

I joined Hotwire to launch the agency in North America. Aside from leading the greatest team of PR pros in San Francisco and New York ever assembled, I also had the chance to work on amazing integrated communications programs for Rakuten, Indeed, and Pega, to name a few. By 2014, The Holmes Report named us Best Technology PR Agency Worldwide.

I helped to grow Affect into an award-winning public relations, marketing and social media agency that serves technology and business-to-business clients. I led biz dev efforts, managed the senior team and provided high-level client counsel and account strategy. I also worked closely with the president on agency operations, corporate messaging and business planning.

I led teams of game strategists, copywriters, illustrators, animators, designers and sound engineers to see the production of Web-based and downloadable games to fruition for clients including Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network.

I worked alongside Bolt's developer team, partner marketing department and community managers to generate content and site features to spark discussion and interaction among Bolt's members. I also conceived of, created and executed integrated online advertising campaigns for companies including Wrigley, Procter & Gamble and Virgin Mobile that featured user-generated content, tapped community influencers and leveraged gamification concepts to achieve success.

I was tasked with managing marketing programs for The Public Theater's regular season and annual membership drive, events at Joe's Pub, and Shakespeare in the Park. My responsibilities included managing two junior associates, overseeing a website redesign, running all print and online advertising campaigns, and selling and managing sponsorship packages to corporate clients including Sprint, Penguin Putnam and Barnes and Noble.

I worked closely with the office's director to recruit and screen qualified candidates for placement at web companies. I also led business development outreach efforts.

I was part of a two-person marketing team that handled corporate marketing, communications and sales support for a fast-growing internet startup. I was awarded the 25/8 award for outstanding service.
