Recent projects include responsibility for the annual renewal with a focus on developing a new benefit plan structure and improved administrative performance. The new plans lowered the cost for the organization to less than 1% while providing greater provider choice to associates. I developed a request for proposal to review benefits broker for the health and welfare plans focusing on services available within a limited cost structure. This included an analysis of the RFP responses and meetings with the four firms under consideration. As part of regulatory compliance I have developed plans to ensure compliance with the Affordable Care Act, including the required notices, PCORI fees and associate communications.
