We cover Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, and Alibaba, and own the end-to-end sales acceleration and growth for the Hyperscaler route to market.We are in a post-acquisition integration phase of the business since Broadcom bought VMware in November 2023. To that end, I am leading the Microsoft alliance for VCF at Broadcom. I've led the combination of multiple cloud partner and sales teams across VMware into a single, unified business upon deal close, and defined its charter based on Broadcom's operational structure. I advise the Hyperscaler GM on strategic planning, monthly/quarterly business reviews with the Broadcom CEO and VCF leadership, and organizational design. A CEO-driven priority for the VCF organization is license portability. I am orchestrating the workstreams involved across the business unit (product, pricing and packaging, commerce, legal, and operations) to get our Hyperscalers enabled for portable VCF licenses.>>July 2024: Google announced the general availability of license portability with Broadcom/ VMware VCF in its environment.>>September 2024: Microsoft went GA with portability as well I also lead the enablement programs for our internal and external hyperscaler partner sellers, and reporting and analytics. -
Chief Of Staff & Director Of Business Operations, Hyperscalers And Tech PartnersVmware Feb 2023 - Nov 2023To grow the VMware business and expand my experience with partnerships and indirect sales, I was asked to join the Tech Partner and Hyperscaler team as Chief of Staff and Director of Business Operations. In this new role, I quickly brought structure and rigor to the business planning and review process, freeing up the VP's time to focus on our business development efforts with our strategic partners: Nvidia, Intel, SAP (our tech partners); Microsoft, Google, Oracle, IBM, Alibaba (our hyperscalers); and Hugging Face and emerging AI partners. I advised the VP on strategy, operations, and culture; ran the quarterly business review/ OKR/ budget process; and led workstreams for our VMware Explore activities (including 2 AI sessions for the Vegas and Barcelona conferences).I led a particularly critical effort to get our new VMware Cross Cloud Managed Services program to market. Sponsored by the CEO to provide our partners more choice, the program hinged on product, commerce, pricing and packaging, operations, and legal working in unison at a robust pace between April and August 2023 to bring the concept to life. I created the governance effort, managed the workstreams, and updated senior leadership on progress/ blockers. We delivered the program to market in late August 2023. -
