Design, plan and test Disaster Recovery solutions for the iSeries in concert with Network DR plans. Researched iSeries hosting options based on business needs in conjunction with network co-location. Participated in decision making and implementation of iSeries hosting and upgrade. Upgraded from 7.1 to 7.2 and moved from Power 7 E4C system to Power 8 41A hosted by a third party. Most recently moved from a Power 7 E4C to a Power 8 system. Coordinated all aspects of upgrade including full testing of new system. Maintain and support our Vertex taxing software and interfaces for the ISeries and Linux platforms. Design, coordinate and implement print outsourcing project, email scheduling outsource project, payroll systems integration project extracting and importing time & attendance data from multiple platforms and applications. Design and manage many other projects directing consultants and coordinating with other resources to accomplish business objectives. Use Microsoft SharePoint to document and track projects.
