Leslie White serves as the Holocaust Studies Advisor and Senior Holocaust Educator for Ofek, the online learning platform of the Israeli American Council (IAC). She has an extensive background in education and Holocaust studies. She previously taught at Tarbut V’Torah Community Day School in Irvine, CA. She holds a bachelor's degree in History from Loyola Marymount University, where she studied under the esteemed Holocaust scholar, Dr. Michael Berenbaum. Her commitment to Holocaust education extends beyond the classroom; she has participated in programs with AMHSI and March of the Living UK in Poland, the Anne Frank Center (South Carolina), Yahad-in Unum, and as a museum educator at both the Simon Wiesenthal Center Museum of Tolerance and the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust.Leslie's leadership roles have included serving as the Education Director at the JFCS Holocaust Center in San Francisco and the Wassmuth Center for Human Rights in Boise. She is an alumna of the Orange County/Long Beach Anti-Defamation League’s Glass Leadership Institute and has been an educational consultant for Chapman University’s Rodgers Center for Holocaust Education. Her training includes programs at the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam and the Anne Frank Center in Columbia, South Carolina. She is also a certified trainer of the traveling exhibit "Anne Frank: A History for Today."In 2019, Leslie was recognized by the "OC Register" as one of Orange County’s Most Influential for her dedication to Holocaust education and efforts to combat antisemitism. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Museum Studies from the University of Oklahoma, to be completed in December 2024.
