July 2018 Enphase is delivering affordable grid independence to the masses. Enphase’s product for forming microgrids will be a game-changer. Accomplishments• Promoted to Senior Mechanical Engineering Manager• Launched first plastic injection molded micro-inverter enclosure, then new iterations yearly• Commercialized all the necessary ancillary products needed for the full system, including connectors, cables, communication enclosures, and mounting brackets• Drove root cause analysis to solve new product introduction (NPI) test failures related to design errors, material characteristics, contaminants, process control, stress, thermal management, moisture ingress, supplier quality problems• Grew the mechanical group to include a team in India to augment US and New Zealand teams. • Learned world class cost reduction techniques from new managementOur most challenging product development cycle to date has been the one month rapid development of a system to demonstrate battery storage for either on grid or off grid operation for key photo-voltaic panel suppliers at the end of May. The next step currently in progress is to take the learning from the demo to prototype a working system packaged to validate the esthetic design and functional features for an Investor day show in mid August. Our final goal is to have the units installed in early customer sites by the end of the year. The whole system includes incremental improvement to the micro-inverter, a new battery storage system with an extensible architecture, and wall mounted enclosures for monitoring and communication electronics. This system could not be achieved without leveraging all the hard work, problem solving, team building, innovation and lessons learned that the team is building upon. It has been a wild ride, but it will all be worth it when the first families that have been without power in Puerto Rico since the hurricanes have reliable power again because of our efforts.

Responsible for leading the concept development of the mechanical component and systems design, integration, and test activities for commercialization of the next generation of Raydiance's ultra-short pulse laser system. Key member of a small interdisciplinary R&D team developing fiber-based infrared laser systems.Accomplishments • Promoted to Mechanical Design Manager• Implemented design changes that reduced transient beam pointing to previously unachievable levels• Successfully generated proof of concept models for next generation laser with designs that meet stringent customer requirements for cost, performance, reliability and service• Generated glass process thermal and stress analysis to support the development of laser cutting parameters

Transcatheter Aortic Valve (TAV) catheter design lead. Responsible for developing next generation delivery system for aortic heart valve replacement including concept designs, prototype development, physician validation, final design, compliance data submission, manufacturing transfer, and first in human. Accomplishments• Generated a family of delivery system concepts with associated prototypes and test methods• Used prototypes to collect verification data in realistic simulation fixtures, physician demonstrations, and animal model deployments. • Effort culminated in the launch of smaller delivery system with greater positioning precision that reduces health issues related to minimally invasive heart valve replacement surgery.

2005-2008 HANDS Program ManagerGlobal network of ground based optical sensors for deep space tracking and orbit determination. Accomplishments• Grew Maui site from 6 to 45 technicians, engineers and scientists in less than one year• Successfully executed a five year, 50M dollar Small Business Innovative Research phase 3 project for deploying low cost telescopes around the world for space situational awareness. • Successfully designed and manufactures the telescope systems in a captive machine shop on Maui• Used lean techniques to rapidly develop hardware and software for customer validation• Solved problems related to science, engineering and management issues • Project culminated successfully with the installed systems providing control, hand-off coordination, and data collection from deployed telescopes covering the full 360 degree equatorial band.• Data collected has been used to monitor debris to make NASA launches safer and to protect militarily space based assets
