The next step currently in progress is to take the learning from the demo to prototype a working system packaged to validate the esthetic design and functional features for an Investor day show in mid August. Our final goal is to have the units installed in early customer sites by the end of the year. The whole system includes incremental improvement to the micro-inverter, a new battery storage system with an extensible architecture, and wall mounted enclosures for monitoring and communication electronics. This system could not be achieved without leveraging all the hard work, problem solving, team building, innovation and lessons learned that the team is building upon. It has been a wild ride, but it will all be worth it when the first families that have been without power in Puerto Rico since the hurricanes have reliable power again because of our efforts. -
