From elaborate 4 day wedding celebrations, to family reunions; and magical 60th birthday parties, successfully staging 9 homes that just won't sell, gently presenting Eames mid century designs, boisterous B2B affairs or quiet Board retreats we have been creating space to hold the intention of the project and event. On the waterfront or in turn of the century mansions, tennis courts to rowing ponds, Craftsmen houses or MidCentury salutes to ferry boats to classic yachts the palate has been as varied as the people we were so lucky to serve. Strong leadership skills, belief in true staff support, comprehending life/work balance and so much more; leadership is an evolving skills set for which I know I have worked well to successfully achieve. Client support paired on par with the business they are hiring requires patience, compassion, strength, knowledge and a decent sense of humor. 40 years that has been on my everyday to do list.

Visual styling can applied to properly staging an empty house, creatively merchandising a fabulous Home Decor store, helping people refresh the spaces they are living in or staging them so they can sell. Visual styling is about balancing aspiration and inspiration, seasons and sites, reality and fantasy. What is the most satisfying aspect for me in the work I do is the very thing I think my work successfully achieves the end result the client wants is communication, intuitive knowledge, hard work, a great sense of humor, attention to detail and an appreciation for what is beautiful.

Adding value through home staging empty spaces and living spaces to sell, styling retail shops with their unique products in alluring and aspirational ways, and redesigning the space you love but want to make fresh without great expense. Working in partnership with other staging professionals, real estate reps, and individuals desiring creative expertise but lacking time or knowledge has been my passion for nearly 7 years.VISUAL MERCHANDISING>> Lead designer with small high-end boutique serving the local population and vibrant tourist trade. Oversaw design concept through execution for home furnishings, boutique décor, and seasonal décor. HOME STAGING>> Created aspirational environments for a broad base of prospective buyers allowing them to visualize living in the space. Designed rooms from a buyer’s point of view and the seller’s budget in accordance with neighborhood price points to allow clients to maximize the market value of their properties. >> Fostered relationships with realtors; partnered with photographers and drone operators for marketing and sales initiatives, performing end-to-end project management.PROP STYLING>> Curated and sourced the finishing touches for photography and film shoots, completing the look to evoke a particular mood. Repurpose items in new and interesting ways, and layering textures and patterns. >>Possesses a passion for the art of visual storytelling in a commercial setting. Utilized knowledge of what was on trend, a clear interpretation of the client’s wants, and personal aesthetic to create visual designs that enhanced the creativity and uniqueness of the project and effectively relayed the message to the intended audience.
