Currently working on Opportunity Zones for Arkansas as a conduit for private investment.Senior Vice President, Arkansas Economic Acceleration Foundation, management of the Foundation and associated projects which include the Donald W Reynolds Governors Cup and the Arkansas Venture Forum. Nearly 10,000 Arkansas students received entrepreneurship education and created 3,200 business plans with oversight provided by more than 3,000 teachers and faculty members who served as team sponsors. More than 1,500 Arkansans from the business, government, education, and nonprofit sectors have volunteered as judges and cash prizes of $1.909 million have been awarded to students and teachers. Activities were underwritten by the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation which provided three grants totaling $9.1 million as well as private donations totaling $3 million. Managing Director, Pine State Capital, responsibilities include activities associated with the certification and establishment of a regional center for the eb5 program which was created by Congress to stimulate the U.S. economy through job creation and capital investment by foreign investors and is administered by the United States Department of Homeland Security.

Manage state sponsored investment portfolio, oversee all aspects of transactions in a timely manner, evaluate investment opportunities in early stage technology ventures, analyze business plans, create financial projections, perform competitive industry analysis and generate financial reporting documents. Develop relationships with external organizations and individuals to generate investment deal flow, relate well with clients and establishes good working relationships.Outstanding oral and written communication skills. Present investment recommendations and financial reports to the President and Board of Directors. Make presentations to the Arkansas Legislature, private companies, conferences and other entities interested in developing and financing entrepreneurial companies.Assist in structuring investments, restructuring and liquidation’s with upper management and legal counsel in early stage technology and biotechnology companies. Collaborate with Arkansas Development Finance Authority, Arkansas Department of Economic Development and other organizations to foster a vibrant economic development industry in Arkansas.
