I am a founding member of the Village at Sherman Oaks Business Improvement District board and have served as Board President for 3 terms, a position I still hold. As BID President, I've been instrumental in providing such improvements as the installation of a beautiful street median on Ventura Blvd., decorative cross-walks at the major intersections, security cameras along Ventura Blvd/Van Nuys Blvd, an annual street fair, and more.I also served as an S. O. Neighborhood Councilwoman and am currently Co-Chair of S.O. Beautification Committee. This was my 10th year as a Big Sunday Captain, teaming Big Sunday/S. O. Beautification Committee /Mayor’s Day of Service to bring beautification projects to the area.I love the San Fernando Valley. I grew up here and never left.
