Began my doctoral coursework in August 2012. Completed all required coursework (67 units) maintaining a 3.98 cumulative GPA while being employed full-time. Began preparation for the dissertation process in April 2015. My qualitative idiographic, exploratory multiple case study studied Millennials and the beliefs and perceptions they hold of their leadership skills. I wanted to know why they believe they are ready and qualified for leadership roles when they admit they need more leadership coaching, mentoring, and leadership training. My study revealed 10 major findings and 3 incidental findings which may help to improve the opportunities for Millennials to step up into leadership roles. The title of my dissertation is: "Millennials and Leadership: Beliefs and Perceptions of Leadership skills". Successfully defended my dissertation and graduated September 2017.
