• Responsible for the creation, design, and execution of the recruitment and marketing processes for the Personal, Academic, and Community (PAC) Coach position• Manage a group of 16 PAC Coaches by training them to facilitate groups, lead students, and navigating the different roles and responsibilities to be successful at Advising & Orientation sessions• Facilitate large group activities to ensure a high level of engagement from student participants • Lead multiple Advising & Orientation sessions by presenting the main Welcome Transfer Presentation and directing and referring students to appropriate sessions• Act as a Peer Coach for 8 first-year students in the Fall Quarter to support them develop goals surrounding themes of Community & Social Acclimation, Academic Enrichment, and Personal Development• Conducted and facilitated approximately 30 individual and group interviews and participated in selection decisions during the hiring process

• Directly led a group of 55 first-year students by acting as their main peer trained resource and contact person throughout the 6 Advising and Orientation sessions • Communicated with a diverse set of Orientation participants, including first-year students, transfer students, and parents and families, through personalized conversations• Facilitated small group discussions to build community and address student questions and concerns, guided 45-minute campus tours to familiarize students with campus, and tracked student attendance and participation to support programmatic logistics• Conducted individualized outreach efforts via email and phone calls to introduce Orientation & Transition Programs services to approximately 50 students
