A graduate of the University of Cincinnati's School of Design Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP), Leslie began her career in 1992 in San Francisco. Emerging high-tech and biotech companies in Silicon Valley were her first clients. Over three decades, Leslie has developed broad knowledge and expertise in how to use design and storytelling to communicate groundbreaking technologies. Her work has included brand identity systems for cryptocurrency banks, fusion energy generators, and hydrogen aviation.
She has had the opportunity to work with a variety of high-profile clients in the tech and biotech industries, including Airbnb, Cloudera, Anchorage Digital, and Intuitive Surgical. Brand identity systems for cultural organizations such as Head Start, KQED, and the SFMOMA have also been an important part of her work.
Leslie co-founded Stitzlein Studio in 2016. Stitzlein Studio is a brand identity, typeface design, and digital experience practice based in the San Francisco Bay area. Before that, she worked at esteemed design consultancies such as Pentagram and Landor Associates.
