Since 2003, I have contributed over two hundred articles to English and Chinese publications across Canada, including the Toronto Star, EliteGen, Asian Wave, Popular Lifestyle and Entertainment magazines, and had been a regular columnist at Ming Pao Daily and Sing Tao Daily. My primary interest is travel, food, and wine.Since 2012, I have began editing work for The Kit (a publication by the Toronto Star), and for EliteGen Magazine (a publication by Sing Tao Canada). The Kit is a weekly fashion insert published by the Toronto Star. In August 2013, The Kit began a a joint partnership with Sing Tao Daily to produce a monthly Chinese version. My duties include:- Ensuring that all deadlines were met by handling freelance translators and graphics department- Collaborating with the Editor-in-Chief and Art Director of the English team to determine story selection and layout- Proofreading all print copy, as well as assisting with the adaptation of English language ads into Chinese.

My main role is to assist the President of Sing Tao, who is also the Director of Business Development, Business Ventures, to help newly acquired businesses transition to become a Toronto Star company. I managed two ethnic markets: south Asian with Suhaag, and Chinese products under the Sing Tao banner. I was transferred to CCUE Chinese Media when the Business Ventures division was dissolved.

By the time I left the company, I was managing consumer relations, media and trade relations, program promotions, special events and government liaisons.Throughout my career at Fairchild, I was heavily involved with the production side as well. My duties include program idea generation, program producer, copywriter, researcher and host.
