Leslie is an experienced IT management professional with project management, COTS software, custom software development and consulting experience across a range of industry sectors (High Technology, Telecommunications, Health Care, Financial Services, and Consulting) and company sizes (Fortune 500, start up, and mid-size companies)Most recently at the Canadian Medical Protective Association, Leslie managed the implementation of Electronic File Management to securely transfer medical records and correspondence between a network of law firms across Canada and to eliminate paper-based case file management. Her career highlights include: deploying self-service transactions on CMPA’s member portal serving Canada’s 70,000+ doctors, managing a PeopleSoft CRM/FDM/HR post production operational support group, managing application development at AT&T Canada, performing senior manager and project director roles for Deloitte and Touche Solutions, and EDS Systemhouse respectively, and providing project and product management for technology start-ups in the early days of e-commerce/java.Leslie provides a unique perspective through her mix of professional services consulting, project management skills, internal IT and human resource management experience. Her formal education (Bachelor Applied Science in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo and General Management Diploma from Smith College), professional certifications (Project Management Professional (PMP®) and Scrum Master (CSM®)) combine with her focus on customer service to add business value to her clients.She enjoys bringing together diverse groups of people to tackle tough challenges and implement creative technology solutions which transform business operations, create efficiencies, and enable access to new information and digital services.
