Lesli Ott is an applied economist, data scientist, and full-stack software developer with a passion for using data-driven technology to create scalable business solutions that address social issues. She is currently the Founder & CEO of Menther. Prior to focusing on her own ventures, Lesli was the Head of Health Economics and Outcomes at Cityblock Health, a spin-out from Google’s parent company Alphabet, where she built and led the data-driven team focused on helping low-income Americans receive better healthcare. Prior to Cityblock, she served as Vice President of Episode Analytics for health-tech startup Remedy Partners, purchased by Signify Health in the lead-up to its 2021 IPO. While at Remedy Lesli built and led the data and technology team focused on creating innovative, value-based healthcare solutions for commercially-insured populations. Earlier in her career Lesli was Lead Statistician at the Yale Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation where she spent seven years providing leadership in the development of healthcare cost and quality measures and enterprise software solutions for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Prior to Yale, Lesli spent six years conducting applied economic research and analysis at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. Her work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals and presented at academic conferences. Lesli holds Master’s degrees in both Economics and Mathematics from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
