Operations Executive
Responsibilities: • Responsible for carrying out services related to ship agency requirements of various principals for Port Operations, Vessel Planning & Handling, Logistics & Support for Procurement at all Indian Ports. • Manage the Ship supply procurement process as outlined by the Vessels Owners or Charterers for Parts, Food and Beverage, Stationaries within the stipulated time without affecting the Vessels TAT.• Port disbursement account (D/A) validation & processing to principals within the stipulated TAT, maintaining zero error with actual operations and expenses incurred. Collection of PDA/FDA amount and outstanding from principals before closing the vessel’s port of call. • Costing and Co-ordinating with the Husbandry team for Crew handling, Cash to Master, Ship Spares clearance and logistics, Supplies of bunker fuels, lubricants and chemicals, F&B, and freshwater arrangements to Vessel on time as per the requirement.• Coordinating with accounts & operations team for all commercial activities, PDA and FDA-related payments, outstanding funds, and other supplier accounts.• Manage and coordinate all Ship chandelling procedure, generate RFQ\RFP against PO's & LPO's and refer for costing review to finalize bid.• Commercial Operations and its communications with Hub coordinators, Vessel operators, Freight Traders, Master Shipping, and Operations Team, including senior-level managers. • Maintaining updated Port SOR / Tariff for calculating port charges at actuals.• Port cost handled for Crude and clean petroleum products, minerals, and chemicals to cruise liners; Dry bulk cargo from coal to aggregate, grains, cement, steel, and heavy lifts. • Maintaining good and healthy communication with vessel owners, and charterers for smooth vessel operations.
