As an Operations Intern, I assist with a majority of Operational endeavors including WCM’s ongoing Instrument Drive, database maintenance, and our library reimagining project. Tasks for the instrument drive include managing current instrument inventory and communication with interested community members to give them an instrument that has been collected from our drive. Tasks for database maintenance include working with Office, HubSpot, and registration software ActiveNet. The library reimagining project includes sorting and organizing our current library in a new way that will allow WCM to utilize the space as an educational resource. I am also one of the first points of contact for current and future students.

Selected to participate in an industry designed summer program focused on the Ethics and Impact of Artificial Intelligence. This program explores how data is sourced, structured, trained and leveraged to deploy technological solutions across key industries. Final projects are evaluated by industry professionals. All participants receive professional mentoring to guide academic and career planning for a digital economy and to help secure paid internships/employment at MKE Tech member companies.
