I have been practicing immigration law in Eastern Ontario since 1988. My clients live all across Ontario, and come from more than 100 countries around the world. I represent people with all sorts of immigration problems. Some are corporations seeking to hire workers from other countries. Some are involved in cross-border romantic relationships, and want to live together in Canada. Some are permanent residents seeking citizenship. Some are professors seeking permanent resident status. Some are facing deportation. We assist them all.I am active in professional associations including, amongst several others, the Ontario Bar Association (Citizenship and Immigration Section), of which I have been Secretary, and the Frontenac Law Association, our local lawyers' group, of which I am President. I have delivered immigration law papers to other lawyers in New York State, Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia. My special interest is in immigration law. As some of my clients are in jail, I do a larger than usual amount of work in the area of deportation and also assist with correctional issues, such as parole. Also, I am an accredited family mediator.
