I have been actively involved in bringing this program to Kingston so that refugees can resettle here. This has two major positive effects: first, it allows those without a safe place to live to find sanctuary and support; and, second, it changes our community positively by bringing it together in support of the new arrivals, and by infusing it with new life and new ideas. It is a win-win!
