I am a passionate and dedicated Health and Safety Practitioner, my interests and strengths lie in leading, mentoring and developing others to promote a personal safety culture and a capability to operate within a safer workplace. Through my business Safetman, www.safetman.com.au I have facilitated safety leadership training to more than 3000 people at all levels from the site Foreman to the Managing Director. I am a well organised operator with high standards and an excellent ability to engage with people at all levels. I have consulted on a variety of project nationally in a number of a industries including mining, construction and rail. A problem solver, I have harnessed that skill with a drive for excellence to develop innovate teaching programmes and learning experiences. My experience in managing group training, education and other activities coupled with my natural leadership qualities to expertly motivate, mentor, coach and build teams and a culture of safety within a range of learning environments, from the classroom to mining and construction sites. Adept at running multiple programmes, and projects, I am confident at utilising technology, responding calmly and productively under pressure.
