Lester Hunte embraces the world of modular design with an outstanding degree of enthusiasm, creativity and accomplishment. He also possesses the unique ability to see all the working parts of his projects while never losing sight of the end result.During his 40 years of working in the family businesses in Barbados, W.I. and Canada, Lester acquired an exceptional knowledge of working with Fibreglass Reinforced Plastics (FRP), Solid Surface Materials(SSM) and other composite materials such as MG and GFRC. He produced products ranging from Commercial Fishing Boats to Solid Surfaces and Architectural Décor products.In 2005, Lester founded a Canadian division of the family business under the name Bellus Contracting. Having gained experience working with diverse cultures from Barbados to Vancouver, Lester has utilized his talent to build a company providing exceptional 2D and 3D modular designs to mainly industrial and commercial clients.In 2015 Lester again launched a manufacturing operation called Servco Solid Surfaces BC Inc. with his brother-in-law from Ontario. In 2019, Lester took over the company and rebranded as Bellus Architectural, creating a whole new image focusing primarily on using Solid Surfacing materials for Statement Furnishings, Fixtures and Architectural Decorations, giving designers opportunities limited only by their imaginations.
