As a Mechanical Engineer, my primary responsibilities are the following:• Interfaced with the engineering design staff to fulfill their requirements pertaining to the site’s Mechanical Design Library• Executed projects involving the Design, Fabrication, Validation and Manufacture of complex instrument subassemblies, systems and processes• Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system on current designs• Created Collection Plans for key design features on components/assemblies for Incoming Quality Assurance and First Article Inspection• Participated in Team Meetings and Design Reviews to meet team goals by offering pro and con suggestions to work toward a consensus• Implemented design changes on models and drafting corrections to assist on site projects• Interfaced with product team members; PCB designers, manufacturing/design engineers, Research and Development Team, Marketing, Regulatory to analyze data/procedures and recommended solutions• Interviewed, hired and trained a team of seven contract mechanical designers in support of New Product Development Projects• Assigned work daily to designers, technical writers and engineering technicians• Utilized Rational DOORS to update software requirements and collaborated with product development teams for Blood Bank, Immunoassay and Clinical Chemistry instruments• Oversaw lifecycle for development of Blood Bank, Immunoassay and Clinical Chemistry devices’ from early Engineering Prototypes to Launch Production phases

As an Engineering/Documentation Specialist, my primary responsibilities are the following:-Deliver effective documentation services through originating, editing and managing design change documentation by ensuring compliance to applicable Operating Procedures, Standards and Government Regulations.-Facilitate design change process activity by interfacing with various levels of management, customers, and peers to gather infromation, troubleshoot, and complete the subject documentation.-Provide effective database services, through investigation troubleshooting and/or coaching efforts, to resolve issues with respect to PLM Database Tools. -Provide overall effective customer services, through respresenting and supporting orgazational efforts, to efficiently resolve inquiries in a consistent and coordinated manner.
