This position is responsible for analyzing provider contracts, reporting, developing the actual fee tables, CPT code pricing, and recommendations on how to configure the Medicaid and Medicare fee tables in accordance with regulatory requirements of AHCA/CMS guidelines. The Contract analyst works directly with the Vice President of Finance and the Vice President Operation on multiple projects, conduct audit reports analyzes trends, reconciles data, and identifies areas for possible provider over payment. In May 2011, assessing a system audit, I was able to recoup and save the company an over payment totaling ($170,000.00 dollars). Within the 90 day inception of the project.Furthermore, this position is responsible for auditing the Hospitals/Providers contract before and after configuration. Currently, this position is in charge of creating new custom contracts upon the approval of a provider credentialing.Supervise the activities of the Provider Contract team with finalizing and designating the actual contracts with the health plan stamp of approval process, including but not limited to high volume IPA, hospital systems or tertiary facilities and other key contracts.Experience in reviewing all types of medical claims, e.g. HCFA 1500, Outpatient/Inpatient UB92, Universal Claims, Stop Loss, Surgery, and Anesthesia, high dollar complicated claims, COB and DRG/RCC pricing.Comprehensive medical terminology and knowledge.5-6 Years experience in the healthcare industry and claims review.Coordinate workflow between departments and interface with internal and external resources. Experience working with a variety of information systems such as CACTUS credentialing system, FACETS system, and SQL data files
