Lester Belanger is President of Argos Project Management, a consultancy practice providing project and program management services, as well as advisory services to clients on project development and governance. Lester brings a wealth of experience in the field of mega-projects, having worked both as an owner and as an EPC and EPCM contractor. He worked on all aspects of projects, from initial studies to execution, in the fields of industrial, power and infrastructure projects.Lester is recognized for his excellence in project management, strategic business development and stakeholder relations. His key areas of expertise include setting up project organization structures and processes, project development and definition, trade-off studies and value improvement programs, and has extensive project execution experience, including turn-around situations. He has a good business acumen and risk management approach, excellent negotiation skills combined with strong leadership. As Vice-President Projects, he oversaw portfolios of projects in different stages of development and execution. He has led and successfully concluded complex contractual discussions for large EPC and EPCM contracts. He also has a vast international experience, having worked and lived in the UAE, Qatar, France, Algeria and travelled extensively on projects in India, Thailand and Malaysia.
