The Internal Audit Data Analyst role consist of obtaining and analyzing sets of structured, unstructured, and semi-structured data from a variety of information systems. Performing data analysis and interpreting data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities using data mining techniques to identify business process improvement opportunities. I also help define functional specifications of data extractions, queries and work with IT in extraction development. The end results consist of communicating the data analysis and interpretations and visually depict results and interpretation using data visualization tools. While I support and work closely with Auditors in resolving technical issues and identifying opportunities and risks, I also generate accurate monthly/ quarterly data reports and dashboards for business units and management when requested as well as assisting in the development of other auditors to provide training to help staff perform more effectively.

Consult with non-technical business users, business professionals, technical and executive staff to elicit input, capture feedback and provide assistance with BI solutions.Interface with business users in order to help identify, document, clarify and/or review requirements. Enterprise Cognos BI Platform Administrator, supporting multiple project teams, including but not limited to server management, release management, license management, and Cognos installation, tuning, configuration and management.Troubleshoot, evaluate and implement solutions for production support issues. Ability to solve complex production issues (Tier 2 production support) and identifying trends.Able to participate in complex projects to achieve key business objectives and able to handle smaller projects completely on own, including interactions with other teams for design and architecture.

Provided complex data processing support to the Business Intelligence Team and Touché Analyzer Service Bureau clients. Also provided technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and supporting the databases and servers that support the Touché Analyzer Service Bureau product. Duties included:•Processing MCIF data, running and auditing verification reports.•Coordinating database processing tasks for multiple services and monitoring overall processing quality.•Run required customer functions and reports providing output to the BI analysts.•Generate SQL queries to assist in analyzing data issues and identifying probable solutions•Initial point of contact with customers on database related issues.•Initial escalation point for technical question from the BI analyst relating to data accuracy or database application issues.•Monitored and ensured compliance to all data handling and database security standards.•Performed data and report maintenance functions and completed request for minor changes to databases, reports and research. •Responsible for ongoing maintenance of the Touché Service Bureau and processing database environments.• Responsible for setup of new client database on citrix server environment which including database setup, user setup, and citrix access.
