Reported to the Assistant Superintendent Operations Under Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium (NPK) fertilizer Production.My duties included planning and controlling the Production Section.Responsible but not limited to Operations and improvement of plant designs, Pollution control and stability, quality control and instrumentation.Responsible for the Bagging Plant and all the processes involved.Responsible for drafting and enforcing all support related procedures.Responsible for all production data collection and interpretations.Responsible for all safety in the section and am involved in incident(s) investigations and prevention.Responsible for all support materials budgeting and inventory control.

Reported to the Supervisor at water treatment plant, then to the Supervisor at themax boiler, also reported to Supervisors at Nitric acid plant and Ammonium Nitrate plant.My duties included controlling the processes via control panels using field operators in all mentioned plants.I was responsible but not limited to reviewing production processes for optimisation, systematic monitoring and assurance of quality control and Pollution control and adherence to critical controls for safety in a shift.I also coordinated training related courses for the plant operators in the shifts. I also liaised with other sections such as, mechanical, quality assurance, safety etc. as part of the process control management.

Prepared annually a water and sewer effluent quality schedules for all Southern province towns in liaison with the set standards between Southern Water and Sewerage Company and regulators such as ZEMA and NWASCO. Implemented and monitored the water quality and waste water sampling schedules every week in each town in southern province by the aid of a mobile laboratory Hach DR 820 and DR 850. Other samples were secured and transported to the main laboratories in Livingstone for further analysis.Annually prepared and presented a budget for procurement of chemicals and implementation of water quality programsRevamped, stocked and supervised the running of the water and sewer Laboratories in Livingstone hence reduced on extra cost obtained through use of external laboratory services such as the university of Zambia.Worked hand in hand with Maintenance engineer and Networks engineer to enacted water audit exercise in Livingstone as a result there was improvement in revenue collection.Tested for potency and conducted jar tests in different coagulant chemical samples from different suppliers i.e. Aluminum sulphate and Poly aluminium chloride during procurement. Also checked the potency of HTH and various laboratory chemical reagents samples before they were procured.Prepared, presented and submitted water quality and waste water monthly, quarterly and annually reports to management, Zambia Environmental Management Agency ( ZEMA) and National Water and Sanitation agency (NWASCO) of foremen and operators on annual basis and drafted a policy booklet on plant treatment procedure training for use in work shops.
