Empower Junior Scientists Project (EJS) is the only Vietnamese project among 50 outstanding global projects to be sponsored by the Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund 2014 by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA). The project aims at bringing science closer to Vietnamese kids, especially those living in difficult situations.In our first season, I worked as a co-founder and human resource manager who involves in establish project future plan and covering arising problems. At that time, my vital responsibility was to supervise project human resources and training activities for volunteers.After duration of 9 months, with strong passion on delivering best opportunities to underprivileged children, we decided to follow up by EJS 2.0 and to run project ourselves. I moved to Events Broad and take responsibility as a leader. All time here I dedicated to:- Managed logistics and budget of + 25,000 USD to organize 8 science camps and 96 science classes for +1,600 underprivileged primary students in 7 surrounding provinces - Planned and ran a science week (29 pupils) and opened 1 Science fair (+500 Hanoi pupils)- Supervised project human resources and training activities (70+ volunteers)
